Welcome Home to the Garden
In an effort to understand where our mission, expertise & skills are most needed and supported, TESLA hit the road last month w/a project we’re calling “Welcome Home to The Garden.”
We’re traveling across the US to ask folks how they are connecting health and healing to Land and Food.
Are they growing their own medicine? Are they growing their own food…cooking their own meals? Do they connect any of these things to health & longevity…where are their hopes and what is their plan around their food system during this time of transformation, chaos & change…are they observing opportunities in their communities to reach in and support one another?
We received a small grant to do this work and I am writing, blogging and sharing via social media and ultimately podcast.
Right now we’re in Washington DC, and are visiting farms, markets, youth shelters, food banks, churches across the Mid Atlantic region.
After this we’re headed to NYC.
